Berlynn is 3 and goes to preschool 5 days a week at Spanish Schoolhouse. She has learned so much and she already says so many spanish phrases. We just had parent teacher conferences and her teacher said she was so smart and understands everything they say to her in spanish. She said she will tell Berlynn 3 tasks in Spanish and she follows through without any questions. I am starting to learn the language and Dan is polishing up on his existing knowledge. Berlynn knows all of her letters and the sounds they make. She suprised us and spelled her first word this week. She said look daddy H-O-T that spells hot!!
Sage is 5 months and is finally sleeping through the night. She rolls over from belly to back and is such a happy baby. She loves her daddy. Every time he is in the room she has her eyes glued to him. She still naps 3 times a day and sleeps from 7 pm to 7 am most nights.

Welcome Baby Sage. Happy and Healthy. 6lbs 11oz. I ended up carrying her to 39 weeks:)

My pregancy:
I had a great pregnancy with Sage besides spending the last 3 months on bedrest. I got put on bedrest at 26 weeks due to short cervix. I had the same issues with Berlynn but not near this soon. I survived the bedrest with internet shopping:)

This is for you Berlynn:
Since we are starting this blog when Sage is a baby we wanted to include some of our favorite memories of Berlynn when she was an infant and toddler.
Welome Berlynn:
She was born on 9-26-05 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz
My pregnancy: I also had a wonderful pregnancy with Berlynn. A few headaches here and there but no sickness no high blood pressure. Nothing eventful until around 32 weeks. I was hospitalized for 3 weeks due to short cervix. I was 90% effaced and 2 centimeters dialated. I ended up carrying her to 37 weeks.
Berlynn was the best baby. She slept 20 out of 24 hours a day. She was so calm and happy. I stayed home for 3 months and then Dan stayed home with her for 12 months. She started walking at 14 months.

At 15 months we put her in a Montessori school. She liked it OK but then again she would have been happy anywhere. She was really adaptable. She never had stranger anxiety. It was really nice but also a little frightening.

The weirdest thing she ever did:
Sleep standing up for an entire week. It made me crazy, I almost cried every time I saw it. We would put her in bed and she would instantly stand up and then would fall asleep on the bedrail. We would go and lay her down and she would pop right back up. It was so sad.
Our favorite things she said:
- g'dea (she would combine the words "great idea" into one. She would say, "I have a g'dea mommy)
- "splip splops" for flip flops
- "tomor-reo" for tomorrow (one time Dan's mom thought she was talking about her friend named Mario)
- "musgic" for music
- "hostimal" for hospital
Favorite faces:
She would make this face where she clinched her neck, arms, hands and fingers. It was so funny. She did it one time for a few seconds straight and a friend of ours thought she was having a seizure.

She would crinkle up her nose and sniff like a dog. She started doing it at 9 months and of course we loved it and laughed and laughed so she kept doing it.
Favorite toys:
Everyone who knows Berlynn knows how much she loves her bears. She slept with all of them and Floppy Bear traveled with us whereever we went. She named them all. Momma Bear, Brother Bear, Baby Bear, Brown Bear and Tiny Bear.

She also loves her babies. She has Pakey, Pacey, Bellisima and the twins (Coko and Kiki) and of course lets not forget Minnie.
